I LOVE FALL!!!
It is one of my most favorite seasons! Why you ask?
Ok, let’s be honest here… it’s mainly because I can officially put the sunscreen away, and still have a month or two that the snow gear is still packed! It’s the little things that excite me.
Playing outside in the Fall is a ton of fun for a kid. Especially when the grass grows out of control from all the rain… super fun for kids, that’s why we haven’t cut it in weeks. You know, for the kids. 🙂
You can bring a pumpkin with you wherever you want to sit and watch the corn sway in the wind… a favorite thing to do for this 3 year old. Plus you’ll want to make sure you’re bundled up with your boots on, it’s Fall after all.
Back inside, it looks to be time to empty the wine cork jar for all those delicious reds to consume. Everyone needs an empty jar for a fresh start, am I right?!
Acorn scavenger hunts are a must! We found five and apparently two army soldiers.
And my favorite Fall nail polish, aside from whatever my girlies force on my nails in a shade of pink or purple… “over the edge” by Essie it is this season!
And the smells of Fall! If you are unable to go apple picking, which I highly recommend as a fun Fall adventure… this candle is a solid replacement.
My top three favorites for Fall:
- Pumpkins! Pumpkins! Pumpkins! Pumpkins not only are amazing decorations… they are delicious and depending on size can be used as a chair for up to three small children! Check out these awesome pumpkin recipes I found on Pinterest!
- Nail polish. I don’t remember a time when my nails weren’t painted! Essie is one of my most favorite brands, my Fall favorite is called, “over the edge” it’s so dark and Halloween-ish. 🙂
- Lastly, snuggling inside as the wind blows the leaves in the yard… with blankets, my lovely three, the hubby and Fred of course. 😉
